Kremnica
Kremnica je označovaná za geografický stred Európy. Je to malé mestečko ležiace v strede Slovenska. Od 10. storočia sa v meste a na okolí ťažilo zlato a striebro. V Kremnici sídli Štátna mincovňa, ktorá je najstaršia na svete. Mestský hrad Kremnica je chránený opevnením, na ktoré sa napájajú mestské hradby, ktoré možno zaradiť medzi najzachovalejšie na Slovensku.

Kremnica is considered to be the geographical centre of Europe. It is a small town situated in the middle of Slovakia. Gold and silver has been mined there since the 10th century. Kremnica is the seat of National mint, which is the oldest in the world. The Town castle Kremnica is protected by fortifications to which town walls are connected. The town walls rank among the best-preserved town fortifications in Slovakia.
